| Zusammenfassung: | In this degree project, a set of Digital Communications practices were developed for the Telecommunications Laboratory (FEIRNNR-UNL), using Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology. This type of practices allow students to relate the theoretical concepts that have been taught by teachers and also to learn about the capabilities of using SDR. The relationship between theory and practice is basically complementary. First, an analysis of the possible topics that cover digital communications was made and with the suggestion of the tutor of this project, a guide of laboratory practices was proposed. The next step was to inquire about the technical characteristics, its operation, and the type of programs that support SDR devices (RTL-SDR, LIMESDR Mini, BladeRFx40) which will be used in the different practices. For the design of each of them different programs were established and in turn the Windows operating system and the Linux operating system (in a virtual machine with the Ubuntu distribution) were used. After their design, the practice guides were developed and elaborated, the format used was the same standard model used in the Telecommunications laboratory, presenting its objectives, the activities to be developed, control questions and others. As a last step, the results were analyzed in order to present the conclusions and recommendations with respect to the work previously done, with the purpose of making the practice guides serve as a support tool for the teacher or the laboratory manager, as well as for the students of the career. Keywords: Digital Communications, RTL-SDR, LimeMini, Pluto-SDR, Windows, Linux, laboratory practices. |
