Resumo:This study has the purpose to determine the influence of the Human Development Bonus and its correlation with the standard of living of single-parent families in Malacatos over the period of 2021-2023. For that, the aims were delineated such as: to diagnosis the attributes and level of single-parent households receiving the Human Development Bonus in Malacatos, working toward to formulate a manual for the efficient utilization of the Human Development Bonus in single-parent households in Malacatos. To achieve that goal, an exploratory and descriptive research was conducted, with a qualitative approach using a survey that contains 17 questions divided into four aspects. The research employed both inductive and deductive methods through the Servqual tool to analyze whether the Human Development Bonus effectively promotes human capital growth and counteracts poverty persistence in Malacatos. Two interviews were conducted involving key actors from the institution. As the main result, it was identified that approximately 60% of the respondents belong to a vulnerable group, such as unemployed mothers facing difficulties when facing basic economic needs. Therefore, it was found that a significant amount of the money from the Human Development Bonus is used for healthcare, providing educational support and medications to those in the program. This study suggests that beneficiaries experience an improved quality of life, especially in terms of health and education. It highlights the importance of building human skills to address poverty in the region.
