Ritualidad en la recuperación de la salud en la Ruta del Qhapaq-Ñan en Jimbura-Cantón Espíndola

The Wisdom in Health, an expression of ancestrality of the original cultures and whose roots survive in contemporary cultures, mainly in Andean countries such as Ecuador, regains recognition as one of the axes that sustains the cultural identity of a people. In the Province of Loja, Jimbura Parish there are very few studies and researches that denote its cultural, sociodemographic and health process that implies access to rituality as a central element of the healing process, nor are the diseases of cultural affiliation and visibility Traditional Health Agents practice. The present study was, of Descriptive and Transversal Type with a qualitative-quantitative and holistic-ethnographic approach, and aimed at the Rituality in the recovery of health in El Salado, route of the Qhapaq-Ñan; whose general objective was to describe the rituals used for health recovery. The survey was applied to a sample of 30 Heads of Family and in-depth interview with 5 Traditional Health Agents. The sociodemographic results show that the heads of families with 57% are women, their age with 30% is between 31 to 35 years, 60% have primary education. In ethnography, they demonstrate a practice circumscribed to the Informal Health System, characterizing the use of medicinal plants, swords and religious elements, in the execution of these for healing purposes. The diseases of cultural affiliation that were evidenced in the investigation were: the cold, stomach ache, bone pain, nerves and infections.
