Résumé:In the present Curricular Integration work entitled " Ineffectives in the responsible management of urban fauna in ecuadorian legislation " the general objective was to analyze the existing Ecuadorian legal norm on the mistreatment of urban fauna and the ineffectiveness of its application in Ecuador, Verifying the lack of application of existing regulations in Ecuadorian legislation, this investigative work arises from the need to know the existing regulations to prevent the mistreatment of urban fauna and the existing misapplication by the Decentralized Autonomous Governments. Its development is based on the origins of animal rights, where it has been possible to show that they have been violated by society, carrying out constant abuse and mistreatment directed towards urban wildlife animals and their poor control and management by the authorities. It has been possible to determine the latent problem that exists in Ecuador towards urban fauna, there are problems directed at animals such as mistreatment, abuse, injuries and finally causing their death. Within Ecuadorian legislation, urban fauna is considered as subjects of law since they are part of the ecosystem of Nature, which is protected under article 10 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. Within the methodology, the level or scope of the research was descriptive, the research design was non-experimental, in the same way a semi-structured interview was conducted with legal professionals from different institutions, where; the qualitative results agree that the State is a guarantor of the care and protection of Nature, including urban fauna in it; highlighting the breach of existing regulations for the case. Case studies related to the exposed theme are presented where the lack of application of Ecuadorian regulations in the cases of urban fauna can be demonstrated
