El desempeño laboral de los obreros de la unidad Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado y el Rol del Trabajador Social

Worldwide consumption of alcohol has been recognized as a factor of social integration and coexistence flattering, one of the most accepted and social drinks consumed, it reduces tension, inhibitions and causes feelings of well being in the group. People who consume alcohol have health problems and interpersonal relationships become difficult, frequent drinker believes that while it is not seen on the streets in deplorable state, neglected his personal appearance, away from the nuclear family without a source of work or isolated from society, consumption is controllable, is not aware of the effects and consequences visible in the short term, causing alcohol intake. This research reflects the reality experienced a high number of workers in the UMAPAL (Unit Municipal Water and Sewerage Loja) due to the frequent consumption of alcohol, which affects the social, economic, emotional aspect, labor and health being instrumental in the low performance of daily activities, the absence and failure to delegated tasks, due to continued maintaining intoxicated at work; and family problems that make the behavior of the person with the problem and their immediate family. This research is about "job performance of Workers Unit of the Municipal Water and Sewerage UMAPAL Loja and the Role of Social Worker"; as a latent and urgent care issues. 6 The general objective of the research was raised: "To help reduce alcohol consumption UMAPAL workers", allowed the specific objectives; substantiate the themes according to the detected problem; know the different causes that causes alcoholism workers; organize awareness programs on the effects of alcohol led to the workers and their families, the same could be fulfilled during the research process. The methodology used is the method of the abstract to the concrete stages which made it possible to detect the current problems experienced by workers in the UMAPAL Decentralized Autonomous Government of Loja. The main results indicate that the workers acknowledged that alcohol consumption has a direct impact on a personal level, low self-esteem because it is clear; at work level of psychological problems arise; socially they are labeled by ethyl state in which they are, suffer discrimination; in the workplace, most of the workers show a poor performance due to the consumption of alcohol coming to have permanent calls attention verbally and written. It can be concluded that alcoholism has a negative impact on the lives of a large group of Workers of the Illustrious Municipality of Loja UMAPAL (Unit Municipal Water and Sewerage Loja), caused inconveniences such as faults, poor performance, frequent verbal reprimands and fines, intake affects the health, social and family environment, alcohol intake is considered as something natural that favors the spread motivates meet long working hours in difficult conditions, mitigates the family.
