Резюме:Non-carious cervical lesions follow a multifactorial process based on theories of abrasive wear, chemical erosion and influence of the components of the occlusion, proposed in this study to determine the presence of non-carious cervical lesions according to the rate of tooth wear Simplified (TWI) Barsdley 2008. 70 patients between 18 and 64 years old were examined, using the facilities of the University dental clinic, the evaluation included; clinical examination, recorded in the observation guide, a questionnaire to uncover potential risk factors that influence the occurrence of such injuries. The results showed that 245 dental bodies examined were 1720 non-carious cervical lesions. a higher percentage of abrasion was found with 65,7%, followed by 27.1% abfraction lesser 7.2% erosion rate was determined by means of the questionnaire as possible risk factors for the use brush with hard bristles 72.8 %, consumption of acidic foods with 31.4% and dental absences 37.1%. The severity was manifested grade 1 in 79.5%, followed by grade 2 with 11.4%, grade 0 to 6.9% and grade 3 with 2.06%. The dental group presented more lesions was incisors with 35.5% followed by the premolars with 34.2%, all injuries occurred in the vestibular area equivalent to 100%.
