In order to theoretically and scientifically argue the categories of analysis, bibliographic information was collected that supports the research variables through the scientific method, and it was determined that the associated factors that influence the living conditions of the adult / elderly and that prevent it from reaching a Optimal state of social welfare are food, clothing, health, housing, recreation, access to culture, using as techniques the observation sheet addressed to 70 older adults, making use of the inductive and deductive, analytical and synthetic methods, which They allowed to establish a direct contact with the actors involved as adults / elders, relatives and professionals of the Center for the Elderly. In the same way, by means of the survey applied to 70 relatives and interview to 3 professionals of the Senior Center of the parish of San Pedro de Vilcabamba, they reflect that the family has a negative influence on the living conditions of the adult / elderly when having a pseudo level participatory where the decisions and actions in which the family takes part have already been agreed upon previously, or the information is given after having been taken, the family does not have a full participation in the care of the adult / adult, there being a percentage majority of adults who live alone with their partner, whose family members have left their care due to factors such as work, distance, personal and family situations, or provide their contribution in a small part, while others have delegated this responsibility to a single member which deteriorates the living conditions preventing reaching an optimal state of social welfare. In this way, it is evident that the participation of the family does influence the living conditions of the elderly adults of the Parroquia San Pedro de Vilcabamba. Finally, with the results obtained, a proposal of social intervention was proposed, which allows the involvement of the family in this process of participation with the older adult, as well as the community where they live, since they are the main influential factors in their well-being. social activity through training and recreation activities. |
