| סיכום: | This research project entitled Geological - structural survey, scale 1:1000, of the old Loja-Cuenca Road, abscissa km 0+000 Wastewater Treatment Plant up to km 4 +550 Clotilde Guillen Mixed School, Florencia sector, canton Loja, province of Loja, has as its main objective to know lithological and structural conditions of the study area, based on the topographic survey using the total station. The lithology of the study area was characterized by outcrop mapping, which allowed the identification of shales belonging to the Agoyán Unit; Colluvial deposits made up of accumulations of metamorphic rocks of various sizes; Alluvial deposits on the banks of the Zamora River where sand and gravel from volcanic and sedimentary rocks are found. The geological structures were carried out through photointerpretation and their respective corroboration in the field. The geological structures identified were: normal fault, lying fold and observed contact. Finally, based on the lithological characteristics and geological structure, a structural geological map was prepared at a scale of 1:1000. For this, ArcGIS 10.5 software and the previous data were required to enter them into the program and draw their symbology and legend. In turn, two geological profiles of the study area were made.
