| Sažetak: | The present research aimed to analyze which multimedia resources benefit the teaching-learning process of waves and electromagnetic radiation in third Grade of General Unified High School. A qualitative approach research was developed, with descriptive scope, of documentary type; the techniques were the documentary review and fiching, making use of instruments such as the research long and mixed cards. The results indicate that the characteristics that multimedia resources should have to strengthen the teaching and learning of waves and electromagnetic radiation are: interactivity, adaptability, accessibility, reusability and versatility: and the appropriate elements are: text, image, video, animation, sound, simulation, hardware and software. It was concluded that multimedia resources substantially complement the PEA in the subject of physics and are an alternative to be taken into account considering the modern educational context. This allowed the elaboration of a methodological guide that favors the implementation of different multimedia resources that benefit the teaching-learning process of waves and electromagnetic radiation.
