Izvleček:The purpose of this research project is to study assertive communication in conflict resolution in first-year high school students at the Pindal Educational Unit, period 2024-2025. Its objective is to analyze assertive communication in conflict resolution through a pedagogical proposal in students of the first year of high school at Pindal School, period 2024-2025. The methodology was based on the qualitative approach, under a descriptive, scientific, analytical and synthetic level. The population object of this study is made up of parallel C with a total of 31 students. To evaluate social skills, a semi-structured interview of 5 questions was applied to the tutor -teacher and an observation sheet to the students in order to demonstrate the real problems that occur in the classroom in relation to school conflicts and verify the presence of assertive communication. With these results, it was possible to know the types of conflicts present in first-year students of parallel high school C, and by not being addressed proactively they are affecting the classroom climate and hindering learning; For this reason, the importance and recommendation of the creation of a strategic intervention guide in assertive communication where they can prevent the escalation of these conflicts, with the goal of not eliminating them completely, something impractical in the educational environment, but rather addressing them from an educational perspective. and based on values such as listening, empathy, respect, understanding, among others
