| Tóm tắt: | The purpose of this research project was the design of the wireless access network of the Universidad Nacional de Loja (UNL), which meets the necessary requirements to guarantee students the adequate network access service. The Universidad Nacional de Loja is structured in the following campuses: Ciudad Universitaria Guillermo Falconí, Campus de la Salud Humana and Campus Motupe, where 63 high-performance Access Points of the CISCO brand are distributed, teams that make up the current wireless access network, which provide coverage to the different teaching-learning spaces of the university, but do not guarantee the correct access to the internet service, being necessary to carry out the corresponding design of the network of access. To bring this project to completion, it began with the gathering of information on the current situation of the wireless access network of the Universidad Nacional de Loja, then, the investigation of practices and recommendations to be followed in network planning was carried out wireless, determining that the wireless access network designed under technical criteria of high user density must have a total of 453 high-performance Access Points, distributed under the guidelines that were determined in the investigation. Finalizing with the elaboration of a technical report, which was delivered and socialized in the Telecommunications and Information Unit (UTI) of the Universidad Nacional de Loja, with the purpose of carrying out its implementation in the short and medium term. |
