סיכום:The production of cocoa is one of the main items that contributes to the economy of the country's agricultural sector, therefore, it is important to improve its productivity. The objective of the research is to determine the incidence of three levels of nutrition on the physiological and growth variables of the cocoa clone EETP-801, in the province of Zamora Chinchipe, carried out in a participatory manner with the "El Padmi" experimental station. It was established with a total of 12 plants which were applied three treatments, four repetitions and in a completely random design arrangement, with an experimental unit that corresponds to a cocoa plant. Performing analysis using the deductive-inductive method, field observations where it was possible to distinguish the particularity of the EETP 801 cocoa reaction at different levels of nutrition, allowing the influence of these levels to be analyzed and interpreted by applying an experimental design. The differences in both pH and EC gave as a response a good adaptability in the development of this variety, which in terms of the physiological variable, the pH was evaluated in order to know the degree of alkalinity or acidity that the soils present where the test was carried out. research; and, regarding the growth variable, fertilization directly influenced the longitudinal growth of the EETP 801 cocoa plants, however, no significant statistical differences were found between the treatments, according to the results obtained. Keywords: fertilization, adaptability, experimental design, statistical differences.
