| Shrnutí: | The objective of this research was to demonstrate the improvement of the physical and chemical qualities of the soil through the implementation of organic fertilizer and humus in the paddock "La Quebrada" of the Punzara Experimental Farm (UNL). A quasi-experimental study of paired units was conducted. It was composed of 3 plots, distributed over 5571.60 m2, and each plot consisted of 1,857.2 m2. This will be the reference unit for the application of organic fertilizer and its effect on forage biomass. An increase in macro-elements such as nitrogen was observed, and the organic matter with a significant value in crude protein (P0.00001), humidity (P0.0001) of the sample was increased bromatologically, followed by a slight rise in significant fat (PO,0001), and finally the increase of ELN with (P<0.0001), in plant height, its value ranged between 2 to 4 cm of growth per plant; the botanical composition of the most prevalent forages were (Pennisetum clandestinum) Kikuyo with (57.3%), (Trifolium repens) White Clover (19.22%), (Trifolium pratense), Red Clover (19. 22%); forage biomass was significant, with a p value of 0.01, the animal load was determined in a number of 4 UBAS/5571.60 m2; Kikuyo coverage was (83.85%), False Llanten (3.75%), Weeds (3.12%) and Clover (12.5%). The number of leaves showed an improvement in species such as Red Clover and False Llanten, concluding that the application of organic fertilizers in forage production and nutritional quality in the paddock ¨La Quebrada¨ of the Punzara-UNL Experimental Farm, helped the production of forage biomass, nutritional quality and soil components.
