| Riassunto: | He cultivation of banana (Musa spp.) Is one of the main economic activities in some provinces of our country as: Los Ríos and El Oro, in the cantons of these provinces there are several families that are maintained and feed this crop. In addition, it should be noted that bananas generate a large amount of foreign exchange for the country, due to the export of this fruit so desired in international markets. In the province of Loja the production of this crop, especially of the Cavendish variety, is a common agricultural activity whose production is diminished due to the presence of pests and diseases, especially black Sigatoka caused by the fungus Mycosphaerella fijiensis Morelet, which (Moreira, 2015) produces production losses of 50%, which is why its implementation is becoming smaller, because it is extremely expensive for farmers to combat them. Most banana producers know very little about the advantages of using meristematic plants for the renewal of their crops and the initiation of new crops, which is why there is a potential market for the introduction of in vitro banana plants in our country. Currently, the protocols for all phases of in vitro banana cultivation are established but some details still need to be refined. In this perspective and with the aim of contributing to the generation of information on the acclimatization and field phase of Banana (Musa spp) cultivation, the present research was carried out "Acclimatization and Evaluation of the initial growth in the field of vitro plants of Banano (Musa spp. Var. Cavendish) in the Paltas canton, which was developed under the following objectives: a) To determine the effect of three types of substrates in the development of banana vitroplants in the acclimation phase, b ) Evaluate the effect of three types of base fertilizer on the initial growth of banana vitroplants in the field phase, and d) Disseminate the results of the research A randomized block design (DBA) was used for both the acclimation and field phase trials and the INFOSTAT statistical program was used for the comparison between treatments. In the acclimatization phase, Treatment 1 (Peat 100%) presented significant differences in all the variables to be evaluated with respect to the other treatments, constituting this treatment in the best of the test; In the field phase the best treatment was number 4 (BLAUKORN CLASSIC), because it presented significant differences with the other treatments, becoming this one the best, since it showed better conditions in the initial development of the banana vitroplants In the research carried out, information was collected on the acclimatization phase and the establishment in the field of banana (Musa spp.) Cultivation, in order to conserve this species and give new alternatives of production to the people working in this crop. Key words: (Musa spp.), in vitro, acclimatization phase, field phase. |
