| Shrnutí: | This research work was about Didactic Materials: significant element to improve the orthography in an entertaining way with students of sixth grade “A” at "Filomena Mora de Carrión" School, during the 2022-2023 school year; the general objective was: to determine the influence of didactic materials in the orthography of students ́ learning at Filomena Mora de Carrión School; in the theoretical framework, topics related to didactic materials and orthography were addressed. In the research process, scientific, statistical, descriptive, analytical, synthetic and inductive methods were used; for the compilation of the information we used the interview applied to the teacher and a diagnostic test given to the students; the research population was nineteen students and one teacher; the results allowed us to determine that a high percentage of students are close to achieving the required learning in spelling; in order to support the improvement of spelling, the activity guide "The Art of Writing Correctly" was designed and applied, which allowed a considerable improvement in spelling. This data encouraged teachers to consider the use of didactic materials in a selective and innovative way, oriented to overcome spelling errors, considering that writing is one of the keys to achieve success in the teaching-learning process in all academic areas.
