| Özet: | Currently, teachers have adopted new approaches of teaching-learning by increasing the use of virtual collaborative tools that facilitate communication and teamwork, which allows the intervention of all users in the same activity in real time, exchanging information and expanding their knowledge through the use of interactive programs, The following research work aims to define the virtual collaborative tools used by teachers during the teaching process at La Dolorosa Church-state school, during the school year 2021-2022. Consequently, to carry on this research, a deductive method and a quantitative approach of descriptive-exploratory type was developed. Finally, a bibliographic exploration was made, which resulted in the theoretical framework, in which definitions, classification and selection criteria for virtual collaborative tools were found, with this reference base the research instrument was built for data collection in the educational institution and the results were generated by systematizing the information. The results showed that teachers infrequently use this type of tools and do not have an adequate mechanism for the selection of collaborative tools, since they do not know all the potential that they can provide in the teaching process. Lastly, it is evident that the most used tools in the educational institution under study are tools that have greater diffusion or publicity in the current educational context.
