總結:Chronic renal failure is the progressive and irreversible loss of kidney functions, where this organ loses its ability to eliminate waste, concentrate urine and keep the electrolytes in the blood, an alarming disease in Loja, a situation that highlighted the need to investigate The reality lived by the patients of the Renal Unit NefroLoja, to determine the influence that the family has in the dialysis treatment of the patients, contributing in the improvement of the quality of life through a social intervention plan. Therefore, to validate the knowledge acquired during the whole process was used the scientific method, which based on auxiliary methods such as inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic, allowed to meet the objectives set; Starting with the theoretical references to support the main categories, as well as the analysis of the field work in which surveys were applied to 92 patients and 92 relatives determining that the family is the fundamental pillar to guarantee the quality of life of the patients of the Unidad Renal NefroLoja, since most mentions their family gives them the strength to fight and the moment their relatives do not give them the necessary time they come to consider themselves a burden for their family. Finally, the main findings determine that the causes for little family involvement are due to working days, since most patients have had to move from the countryside to the city because of the treatment they receive, which causes economic problems, Psychological and social, directly affecting the quality of life of patients, as they feel anguish, stress, worry, fear and anxiety for not being able to contribute in the home and in turn interfere in the fulfillment of work, educational and daily activities.
