Los saberes ancestrales de la población indígena vinculados al desarrollo rural de los cantones de Loja y Saraguro

The present investigation executed in the cantons of Loja and Saraguro, where there were analyzed the ancient saberes of the indigenous population linked to the rural development, in order to characterize the practical process of application of the ancient saberes and his incident in the survival of the aborigens of Saraguro in the area of investigation. The methodology used for the development of the study developed in three phases: the first phase consisted of the compilation of primary information that was obtained directly of the producers, Shamanes, curanderas, hierbateros, sobadores and existing midwives in the area of study; for which a survey was applied prediseñada for the effect; likewise the rituals and ceremonies were observed in the practice of sanación, realized by means of stipends in the sites and sacred places. The second phase was based on the summary of secondary information of different bibliographical sources that refers to the practice of the ancient medicine, of equal form the use of plants and animals in the diagnosis and treatment of the different diseases of the human beings; and the third phase based on the interpretation of the information (bibliographical and of field) that allowed to define the current reality of the aborigens of Saraguro; as well as the exposition of actions of sustainable development based on the ancient saberes of the aborigens of Saraguro. The work began with the application of a survey prediseñada for the investigator, to the informants of random form, putting emphasis in the major persons of age of the communities indigenous Saraguro's. In this case it was investigated In this case 1 was investigated to 83 farmers, 8 hierbateros,1 Yachak, 2 sobadores, 4 midwives and 2 promoters of the Subprocess of Intercultural Health of Saraguro's Hospital. Later, the results of the investigation were analyzed in the aspects of production, supply, health, holidays and ancient technologies; and on the basis of it, there were established the strategic limits of intervention that shapes the Offer of Sustainable Development, which are orientated under the beginning of relacionalidad, duality, existential and reciprocity. Those who are orientated to recover and preserve the ancient practices of the aborigens of Saraguro. The Offer of Sustainable Development Based on the Saberes Ancestrales of the Aborigens of Saraguro, he contemplates the following programs. - Andean program of recovery of the integral production. - Program of food safety with Andean products - Program of recovery and promotion of the ancient medicine. - Program of rescue and diffusion of the traditional holidays . - Program of improvement of the ancient technology. The financing for the development of the diverse activities established in the offer, will be a responsibility of the Autonomous Decentralized cantonal and parochial Governments.
