Riassunto:Innovative didactic strategies contribute to the improvement of the teaching and learning process, and the construction of significant learning in students. That is why the objective of this research was to << Promote the construction of significant learning in students, through the implementation of innovative didactic strategies, which improve the teaching and learning process of the Natural Sciences subject of the Tenth year of Basic Education, in "Adolfo Valarezo" High school, academic period 2022-2023>>. The research method used was inductive, because it is based on direct observation that allowed the problem to be identified and through bibliographic research, the intervention proposal was elaborated to solve the identified problem. The research has a qualitative approach; since, relevant characteristics of the teaching and learning process were established, among them, little participation of the students and the minimum implementation of innovative didactic strategies. On the other hand, according to the nature of the information, it is of the Participatory Action Research type, since we interacted and worked together with the students in the development of the intervention proposal. In addition, according to the temporality, it is transversal, since, from the diagnosis of the problem to the discussion of the results, it corresponds to a short period of time. The evaluation and research instruments made it possible to establish the most relevant results regarding innovative teaching strategies such as gamification, peer learning, cooperative learning, discovery learning and information management (1-2-4 technique). These favor the creation of dynamic and interactive learning spaces that allow the active participation of students in the classroom process. It is concluded that the innovative didactic strategies mentioned above improve the teaching and learning process of Natural Sciences and therefore promote the construction of significant learning in students.
