| Sammanfattning: | This thesis called FAMILY FUNCTION AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL SKILLS IN CHILDREN FIRST YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION GENERAL BILINGUAL EDUCATION UNIT "RUSSELL THOMAS CRAMPTON" CAYAMBE CITY IN THE PERIOD LECTIVO 2014-2015. GUIDELINES PROACTIVE, has structured and developed according to the Regulation of Academic System of the National University of Loja. The general objective that guided the research was: Determine family functioning and its relationship to the development of social skills in children freshman general education Basic Bilingual Education Unit "Thomas Russell Crampton" city of Cayambe , for school year 2014-2015. The methods used for the preparation of this research work were: Scientific, Inductive, Deductive, Descriptive and Statistical Model thereof which served effectively help to achieve the proposed goal. The techniques and instruments used were: The Family Apgar Test Targeted group of families in the first year of General Basic Education Bilingual Education Unit "Thomas Russell Crampton" city of Cayambe, for school year 2014-2015; and Social Skills Questionnaire aimed at children in the first year of basic general education Bilingual Education Unit "Thomas Russell Crampton" city of Cayambe, for school year 2014-2015. Application of the Survey of Parents concludes that: 100% Parent or Family respondents state that values living or foster home as a family function are respect, freedom, justice, tolerance, cooperation, equality; and 85% freedom. 57% of parents or family Family value their functionality as stable; and 43% unstable. According to the results of the Social Skills Scale the following results were obtained: 53% of children in First Year of Basic General Education Bilingual Education Unit "Thomas Russell Crampton" city of Cayambe, is located in High Level development of Social Skills, 40% at standard level; and 15% in the Lower Level |
