| Summary: | This research entitled EXPLORATION OF THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL SKILLS IN THE CHILDREN OF PREPARATORY OF THE SCHOOL OF PARTICULAR BASIC EDUCATION SAN FRANCISCO XAVIER OF THE CITY OF LOJA ACADEMIC PERIOD 2018-2019, aims to determine the development of social skills with the natural and cultural environment of high school children. It is a descriptive investigation with a mixed approach and correlational scope, the methods used in the investigation were the scientific method used throughout the entire investigation; the descriptive and analytical - synthetic statistical method. The sample was chosen under non-probabilistic criteria guided by the purpose of the investigation, which was made up of 21 children aged 5 to 6 years. The instruments applied were: a survey based on the contributions of Bandura, embodied in his theory of Social Learning, the same that was applied to five teachers of the institution and the Social Interaction Skills test in children aged 3 to 6 years by Shadia Abugattas Makhlouf, which showed that: 71% of the population had difficulties in terms of relationship skills and 67% presented difficulties in their self-affirmation and have not properly developed the expression of emotions, being able to in this way, to affirm that there is an obvious problem regarding the development of social skills in the investigated population. The exploration of the natural and cultural environment was carried out as a strategy to promote the development of social skills, with a duration of 10 weeks evidencing a reduction of the problem to 19% in terms of self-affirmation and 14% in terms of skills to relate and in terms of expression of emotions, being able to affirm that the exploration of the natural and cultural environment significantly favors the development of social skills. |
