Samenvatting:This research work is on: "The teaching materials and skills development with the numeric performance criteria curricular area of mathematics in children in third year of basic education for the Fiscal school" Ing. Jose Velasco Alexandrian "school period 2012 - 2013, proactive guidelines" where the overall objective is: To establish at what level the use of teaching materials helps to improve skills development with the numeric performance criteria curricular area of mathematics in children in third year of General Basic Education school Fiscal mixed "Ing Velasco Jose Alejandrino "teaching period 2012 -2013, The general hypothesis of this research work is: The teaching material in a limited impact skills development with the numeric performance criteria curricular area of mathematics in children in third year of General Basic Education School Fiscal mixed "Ing Alejandrino Velasco " . Teaching period 2012 - 2013 , during the investigative process works with the following methods: the scientific method allowed me to organize information and demonstrate the hypothesis, the inductive method helped me in the analytical and synthetic studies and phenomena of particular character and reach to draw conclusions and general recommendations , and deductive method allowed me to check and theoretically experience the information collected in this research work , the survey was administered to teachers and test students in their third year of basic general education, so it has come to the conclusion that the teaching material is rarely used in the teaching process for the development of skills with performance criteria and therefore it is proposed that teachers always work with striking teaching materials according to year of primary pupils so as to draw the attention of students and achieve good learning.
