Zusammenfassung: | The research refers to the assertive techniques to improve self esteem among adolescents in the 8th. to 10th. YEAR OF EDUCATIONAL UNIT EDUCARE BELONGING TO THE FOUNDATION "CISOL" LOJA CITY, JULY 2015 PERIOD MARCH- arises as a strategy to face the problems of this population since this affects personal, educational and social development. He therefore had as its main objective to improve the self-esteem through assertive techniques in adolescents investigated. The thesis is part of the research - action through the intervention was descriptive, explanatory type, cross-section, with a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach. theoretical and diagnostic, design and planning of alternative and evaluation and assessment of the effectiveness of the alternative, for this theoretical, empirical and descriptive statistical methods were used: framed in three areas methods were used. The population was 46 teens, the sample is obtained from non-probabilistic way, which were administered the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, estimating fifteen students with self-esteem issues. From the results obtained after the application of assertive techniques workshop concluded that a significant improvement in self-esteem of adolescents in each of the levels was evident. Therefore it is recommended that each of the assertive techniques to improve and enhance self-esteem in this population |
