Тойм:This research arises from the knowledge of the difficulties of the children of seventh grades, difficulties such as the lack of interest in reading, which affects the development of comprehensive reading, teachers also do not use mobile technology in the classrooms, even though it is a tool that permits to adquire knowledge in an innovative and attractive way, for this reason it was proposed to develop an interactive book focused on a collection of tales for Android mobile devices, as a didactic tool to enhance the comprehensive reading of children of seventh grade in the subject of language and literature of the “Lauro Damerval Ayora N° 2” Educative Unit, 2015 period.The population participating in the research was the teacher and twenty-two students, to carry out this work, it was used the scientific method that helped to get an effective product besides, it was applied the Iconix methodology, which allowed to analyze, design, develop and implement the interactive book. The tools and techniques used to develop the interactive book were the most favorable, one of the techniques used was the interview, that served to get the sufficient data for determination of the computer application; and after being developed and socialized, it was applied a token of assessment whose results determine that the computer application meets with the necessary pedagogical, technical and cognitive aspects to enhance the comprehensive reading.In this research, it concludes that the interactive book is a didactic tool that helps to enhance the comprehensive reading, since by the results of the knowledge test applied to students of the seventh grade, the improvement is evident in the reading level they have.
