| Резюме: | Chronic Renal Insufficiency has become a terminal disease because the kidney progressively loses its proper function because of this people who have to undergo hemodialysis this being an invasive treatment for life, this means that patients must depend on a machine to survive, due to this, the mood of the patients has a significant effect, they are becoming vulnerable to developing psychological problems and they have repercussions on mood such as depression. The main objective of this research work was to determine the relationship between Chronic Renal Insufficiency and depression in people undergoing hemodialysis treatment carried out in the Unidad Renal Nefroloja. It has a quantitative, non-experimental crosssectional, descriptive approach. The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-2) and a sociodemographic token were used as instruments. The sample consisted of 93 patients, this was obtained through a non-probabilistic sampling based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Within the results of the analyzes it was obtained that 63, 43% these presented high levels of depression establishing the significant presence of this emotional pathology, in this way the most frequent level was moderate, within this study the majority of the population had a similar prevalence between both sexes, these belong to age groups that vary between 51 to 65 years, who are in hemodialysis from 6 months to 4 years |
