| Summary: | This thesis work involves the development of a Multiagent system learning objects search called SMAS, which uses an Ontological model as domain defining them, in the construction of this system the basis of the Semantic Web is implemented, establishing its utility with the Software Agent. This mix of technologies is considered as a future version of the current Web, through the use of a Ontology, make the information be better defined and agents can extract information from it, in the environment these are responsible for using the Web services of available repositories on the Internet; which provides metadata of learning objects and they are instantiated in the Ontology for further search. To carry out this work it was used the literature review of Learning Objects, Ontologies and Intelligent Agents, as well as an analysis of tools and methodologies to complete this work, so the use of a hybrid and robust methodology is determined to include activities for both the design of Ontology and Agents, in which the phases of ICONIX, Methontology and Ingenias, which as a result a requirements analysis was gotten and to build the domain model, case-use and interface prototypes was obtained based on them the preliminary design phase; in the design phase the ontology definition was made and design environment of Agents taking the phases of requirements analysis and preliminary design the performance was defined, in the implementation a components diagram was done and codified elements in the previous phases. By using functionality and usability testing the proper functioning of the system was verified according to the requirements initially set and with the results it was possible to verify the lack of knowledge about open educational resources, so it is concluded that this software is helpful it allows verifying effectiveness in performing search activities and learning objects. Finally, to use SMAS does not require the purchase of expensive hardware, this is developed with tools that are free, and it is also a great solution because using free digital resources available on the Web encouraging the use of reliable information. |
