“Propuesta de un plan de seguridad y salud ocupacional para la empresa Fundación DECOF de la ciudad de Loja.

The following investigation called "Proposal for an Occupational Safety and Health Plan for the company Fundación DECOF of the city of Loja, had the purpose of carrying out a study to identify the different risks present in said company, likewise alternative solutionsare proposed that help to create strategies that minimize risks. The methods used for theinvestigation were: deductive, it allowed to know the current legal regulations and to verifyif the company complies or fails to comply with the current regulations; inductive served toknow important aspects in terms of occupational health and safety detailed in the currentsituation of the company; description helped to formulate the occupational health and safety plan. For the collection of information, techniques such as the survey of Fundación DECOF workers were used, as well as the interview with the administrative manager and an observation guide based on compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Labor. Among the results, it was obtained that the DECOF Foundation lacks an internal Hygieneand Safety regulation, they do not have an occupational health and safety delegate, theyhave not received training, they do not have adequate fire extinguishers for the respectivejobs, in addition to being unaware of their use and driving, have not acquired a basic firstaid kit. Based on this background, it is proposed that the DECOF Foundation hire the services of an Occupational Health and Safety technician in order to provide support to the company, so that in this way it complies with what is established and recommended in the regulations of the Ministry of Labor. , in addition to implementing the missing personal protective equipment (PPE), in turn training staff on issues related to fires, use and management of fire extinguishers, first aid.
