| Shrnutí: | The research entitled BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION TECHNIQUES TO DECREASE INADAPTATE BEHAVIORS IN HIGH SCHOOL CHILDREN OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT JOSÉ INGENIEROS Nº 1, OF THE CITY OF LOJA PERIOD 2019 - 2020; has as general objective to determine how behavior modification techniques influence in the decrease of inappropriate behaviors in high school children; for the development of the research the methods were used: Scientific, hypothetical-deductive, analytical-synthetic, statistical-descriptive and finally the inductive-deductive; a checklist prepared by the researcher and directed to teachers was applied in order to obtain the pertinent information. The research population consisted of 52 children and a nonprobabilistic sample of 27 children was obtained. The results allowed determining that with regard to aggressive behavior there are 22% and 15% in the indicators of frequency always and almost always; within disobedient behavior the most outstanding are 26% and 22% in the indicator of always; and, with regard to inattentive behavior, 19% in always and 22% and 30% in almost always. To support the improvement of the children's behavior, an alternative proposal based on behavior modification techniques was designed and applied; where it was evidenced at the end of it, that the investigated group had 4% of aggressiveness, 11% of disobedience and 4% of inattention always. Behavior modification techniques are didactic strategies that allow obtaining optimal results to reduce inappropriate behaviors in children. |
