Резюме:Today small, medium and large companies are looking for innovative business ideas; so they are always in constant research and study and development of different products with components that are found in nature and that are beneficial to the health and beauty of people, obtaining with this an economic profitability. The present work entitled "FEASIBILITY PROJECT FOR THE CREATION OF A COMPANY PRODUCER AND COMMERCIALIZER OF ESSENTIAL OIL OF AROMATIC HERBS IN LOJA CITY" seeks to take advantage of business opportunities and business development within the local market, which have not yet been exploited. This is how objectives have been set that will help to know the feasibility of the project for the production and commercialization of moisturizing oil with essential peppermint aroma. To determine the feasibility of this project was necessary to carry out a diagnosis and market study that allows us to know the supply and demand of the product to be offered; Likewise, a technical study has been carried out to determine the optimal capacity and the necessary requirements for the implementation of the present project; in addition, the economic and financial study was carried out where the amount of investment, financing, costs of production and income generated by the project are known; all with the respective financial evaluation through indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Cost Benefit Ratio (RBC), etc. That allow to determine the feasibility of the project and then elaborate a structural design of organization, that adapts to the needs of the company. The development of this project required the use of certain materials, methods and techniques. Among the materials used are office supplies that served to collect information; the bibliographic material that served as the basis for the respective writing of the theoretical part of the project; the storage devices that were used to store the information that would later be reviewed, analyzed and ordered. The methods used were: the Scientific Method that allowed to identify the problem, analyze it and draw conclusions, through a logical-structured procedure to carry out the present project; The Deductive Method that served to construct the theoretical framework, that is the one that directs the investigation to give background and form to the theoretical referents of the subject "essential oil of mint"; The inductive method that allowed to see what are the most relevant facts that were subsequently given the corresponding solution; The exploratory method that became familiar with the subject of study and select, adapt or refine the available resources and procedures that were identified through observation; The descriptive method with which a detail of the results obtained through a systematic process for the elaboration of the present project was made. The techniques used are: the survey that was used to collect specific information on demand and supply; The direct observation that provided information about the behavior of different factors that are directly and indirectly linked to the thematic of the project, as well as its possible causes and effects that were found around it. As for the market study, surveys were applied to the economically active population of the city of Loja. The economically active rate estimated for 2016 by the Central Bank of Ecuador is 67%. Therefore of the 211,306 inhabitants 67% corresponds to 141,575 inhabitants or economically active people of the city of Loja. From this population a representative sample was obtained to which the survey was applied; This sample was 383 people. Likewise, surveys were applied to the bidders; with a total of 668 businesses offering the product; of this total was taken a sample that was of 244 to whom the survey was done. The results obtained from this study indicate that 93% of the respondents (131,665 people) use oils for personal use; of this percentage, 85% use oils with essential aromas (111,915 people); which represent the actual demand for the product to be offered. In addition, these people consume an annual average of 882.48 ml of mint essential oil moisturizer (8.82 flasks of 100 ml); giving a real demand of 28’919,352.30 ml (289,193.52 flasks of 100 ml); of this real demand only 94% would be interested in acquiring the new product. Of the surveys applied to the bidders, it is known that this covers 13.79% of this real demand, with an unsatisfied demand of 86.21%. The technical study analyzes the installed capacity and determines the capacity used for the production of the moisturizing oil with essential peppermint aroma. The production of this product doesn’t require sophisticated machinery or qualified labor; Only an exhaust system is required, which works with the heat provided by a gas cooker. As for the materials used to make this product, they are easily obtained in the local market; Are fresh mint, water, gas and moisturizing oil the main materials that are used for production. The installed capacity initially is of an extractor equipment, obtaining a production per year of 1'106.571,15 ml or 11,065.71 units of 100 ml. each. The installed capacity requires an initial investment of $ 15,859.05; This investment will be financed, in part (63.06%), by a bank loan and another part (36.94%) will be provided by the project partners. With the economic and financial evaluation is known if this project is profitable and therefore if it is advisable to invest in it. The unit cost (units of 100 ml of oil) for the first year amounts to $ 7.67; on which it calculates the 20% of profit, establishing a sale price for this year of $ 9,21. Selling the total number of units produced this year, you get a total income of $ 96,802.88 and a net income this year of $ 9,627.05; evidencing positive cash flows that will allow to make new investments or to increase the productive capacity. The NPV obtained is greater than one ($ 111,120.84); The IRR is much higher than the cost of capital (141.88%); The period of capital recovery is quite short (8 months, 19,2 days); The cost-benefit ratio (RBC) is $ 1.20; all the results obtained with these indicators show that the project is feasible and convenient. In addition, sensitivity analysis determines that costs can increase up to 9.60% and revenues can decrease to a maximum of 8,00% without affecting the project; that is, that variations equal to or less to these percentages don’t affect the viability and profitability of the project.
