Zusammenfassung:This work shows the development process of web system entitled: Development of an intelligent tutor for the English language teaching children five to six years of age (STIEII). In addition, English was taught through index cards with its respective pronunciation and for the evaluation questions an objective test was used with association, matching, or correspondence. The STIEII is a web application that allows the teaching to: manage users, students, units, themes, index cards (vocabulary) and see outcomes of students. On the other hand, it also allows the student to view the topics of education and access a specific topic of training. It was built under the JAVA language in the JSF (JavaServer Faces) platform. It used two methodologies as are Kearsley and UWE. The first methodology proposed by Kearsley which indicates the steps for building the ITS Intelligent Tutor System. The purpose behind this method is to teach students through their determination and knowledge. Also, Supervised Neural Networks with the collaboration of the Weka tool was used for this application. Neural Networks helped classify the state of perception of vocabulary based on answered questions. Furthermore, it was used to obtain the next level of the training (teaching and learning process). Also was handled the UWE methodology for analysis, design, and construction and application development. UWE is based on the UML unified process but adapted to the web Teaching English language through an intelligent tutor system with artificial intelligence technique; allowed students to remain attentive and learn at their own pace. This was reflected at the end of the test after 81.81 % of students obtained high scores on the learning curve. It is suggested that for the proper functioning of STIEII (Intelligent Tutor System for English Language Teaching) that a computer have internet connection, since the application already uses responsiveVoice.js library to convert text into audio.
