| Summary: | In the current context of increasing digitization and demand for flexible learning, virtual courses have emerged as a powerful educational tool, so this research aims to diagnose compliance with the PACIE methodology in the virtual learning course Introduction to Technical Support, of the subject Technical Support I, by the teachers of the Computer Science area of the Educational Institutions of the City of Loja, school year 2022-2023. The methodology used for the development and execution in this research was based on the deductive method, with a quantitative approach, being its type of descriptive research. In this sense, the population to be considered are the teachers that belong to the Computer Science area, with a sample of 12 teachers from Educational Institutions in the city of Loja; where the virtual learning course Introduction to Technical Support was described, taking into account the main elements present, these being the blocks, sections and units that were adapted for the aforementioned subject, whose graphic reference corresponded to the screenshots and detailed information. In the same way, the PACIE methodology for the creation of virtual courses was characterized in a matrix, with a scientific theoretical foundation, highlighting the blocks: Zero or PACIE, content and closing, each with their respective parameters. Finally, it was possible to diagnose compliance with the PACIE methodology in the aforementioned virtual course, by adapting a structured questionnaire applied to the teachers’ sample of this research; revealing that the virtual course presents a higher percentage in the dimensions "Presentation of the virtual classroom" corresponding to Block Zero or PACIE and "Didactic and Pedagogical Organization of the classroom" referring to the Block of Contents. On the other hand, it showed lower results in the dimensions of "Student monitoring" related to Block zero or PACIE and "Evaluation" related to the Closing Block.
