Summary:Organizational design is a tool in which an action planning tool is developed and detailed to help improve the company's performance. The present Curricular Integration Work aims to present a "Proposal of an organizational and functional structure for the Black & White Construction and Consulting Company of Yantzaza canton, province of Zamora Chinchipe", in order to solve the inefficiencies that occur internally in the company to improve and increase the activity within the company, since any organization must have an organizational structure that serves as a guide for the development of its activities, so objectives were determined covering all aspects that are related to an organizational and functional design. The methodology used in this work allowed the collection of information within the study area with a qualitative approach supported by the inductive method, with a type of action-research design, and with the help of techniques and instruments such as surveys and interviews that provided the facility to obtain the necessary information. As a result, it was found that the company does not have an established organizational and functional structure, such as functional, structural and positional organization chart, likewise, it does not have detailed welcome and process manuals, which allowed to determine the structure of the company together with the functions performed by the employees. For this reason it was determined the importance of implementing an organizational and functional design for the company in order to improve its corporate image in front of internal and external customers, as well as its competition, allowing a better positioning in the market.
