Yhteenveto:The present titling work called "Analysis of informal commerce in the surroundings of the Loja Shopping Center Market, year 2022", establishes a contextual and normative analysis of the problem of informal commerce in the city of Loja. The general objective of the research is to help improve the regulation of public space in the surroundings of the Mercado Centro Comercial Loja. In the same way, the specific objectives are established: identify the regulations that regulate the public space around the Mercado Centro Comercial Loja; describe the operation and application of the regulations that regulate the public space in the surroundings of the Mercado Centro Comercial Loja; and propose changes that make the regulation of public space in the surroundings of the Loja Shopping Center Market effective. The methodology used has a non-experimental and descriptive approach, supported by instruments such as interviews, surveys and analysis of policy instruments. The main conclusions show the existence of an implementation problem, since there is a lack of instruments that allow the problem to be carried out adequately, as well as the existence of a mismatch between the objectives and the means of this policy. Likewise, a proposal for improvements focused on the implementation of fines for sellers and buyers is proposed; the creation of new infrastructure for the relocation of informal traders; the placement of sales prohibition signage in public spaces or the need to introduce new policy instruments to improve these regulations.
