Резюме: | There are many techniques used for the development of creativity in boys and girls; one of them, the game. The present research is focused to the use of games as a didactic strategy for fostering creativity in boys and girls of the “Inicial II” level in the “Lauro Damerval Ayora No. 1” Educational Unit, of the city of Loja for the 2014-2015 school year. This research work is marked into the descriptive and correlational research type, where it was used research methods such as: deductive, inductive, and descriptive; and also the directed survey technique to teachers of “Inicial II” level; the instrument used was the creativity test adapted to the Torrance test, which was applied to a total of: 21 children, 14 girls and 7 boys from 4 to 5 years of age, instruments that served as support for gathering and verifying data. Through the established strategy, the game, the results were improved, which generated high levels of creativity in outcome, 71.4% of children with a high index of creativity; 23% presenting a medium-high average of creativity; having as a final result creativity indexes superior to the ones found in the previous applied test. The strategy of games played an important role at the moment of using it as an enhancer of creativity in boys and girls of “Inicial II” level. The conclusion obtained it that games: puzzles, blind man’s bluff, decorating using rocks, cops and robbers, clay molding, allow enhancing notably the creative development of boys and girls of 4 to years of age in the “Lauro Damerval Ayora” Educational Unit |
