| Tóm tắt: | The research focuses on Pedagogical Strategies to Improve Demotivation in Language and Literature in Eighth Grade at the Educational Unit Dr. Manuel Agustín Cabrera Lozano during the 2023-2024 Period. The general objective proposed was to develop effective pedagogical strategies to improve school demotivation in the subject of Language and Literature for the eighth grade at the Educational Unit Dr. Manuel Agustín Cabrera Lozano during the 2023-2024 period. The methods employed were scientific, statistical, descriptive, analytical, synthetic, and inductive, each of which contributed significantly to the research process. The research was descriptive as it used criteria from different authors as a reference for the theoretical framework. It was quasi-experimental, working with a population of 21 individuals, including 1 teacher and 20 students in eighth grade of basic general education. An interview with the teacher and a survey of the students were conducted. The findings revealed specific challenges in the subject, with a particular emphasis on students' preference for playful, technological, and collaborative strategies. The importance of diversifying pedagogical resources was also highlighted. To support student motivation and provide effective tools for the teacher, the alternative proposal "Motivating Strategies in Language and Literature" was designed. In conclusion, it is evident that teachers need to innovate in pedagogical strategies to maintain a continuous interest from students in intrinsic learning. |
