Summary:The research deals with the virtual platform Moodle in the teaching-learning process for BGU students from the Ovidio Decroly Educational Unit of the Catamayo Canton. we worked with the following general objective: To determine the incidence of the Moodle virtual platform as a resource in the teaching-learning process of the Unified General Baccalaureate students of the Ovidio Decroly Educational Unit of the Catamayo Canton. Stated on this, we determined that the teacher does not use the Moodle platform in the teaching process. This leads to the student's poor academic performance to learn. Likewise, we worked with the following scientific, descriptive, deductive, inductive, synthetic, analytical, and statistical methods, which helped to substantiate the different postulates of the authors, based on them to infer using criteria to deepen the raised topic, the sample was constituted of 144 students and 22 teachers, who helped elucidate the problem through a bank of questions related to the research topic; Given this, we determined that the impact of the Moodle platform will contribute to the students being able to develop their creativity and imagination in learning, and this will be significant in the different subjects of the Unified General Baccalaureate.
