Ajouter un tag | Résumé: | The development of this thesis is based on the implementation of the "Agreement on Residence for Nationals of States Parties of Mercosur", specifically in the requirements needed by the citizens of this regional bloc to access to a temporary visa or permanent residence under this international instrument and its impact on regional integration. This research provides the reader several concepts on migration and integration, which allows more the reader clarity on the approach to the subject to be studied. On the other hand, a study of the current situation of the implementation of the Agreement in Ecuador and its current status; taking into account several contributions given by scholars in this research field, particularly on immigration issues and new trends of the South American bloc. To conclude with the theoretical framework, it is shown a study mainly carried out of the Constitution of Ecuador and its contribution on issues of human mobility, migration, regional integration and universal citizenship. Finally, it is presented a study of the legal regulations applicable to three countries part of Mercosur for the granting of temporary and permanent visas, the proposal is to reform the articles 4 and 5 of the "Agreement Residence for nationals of States Parties of Mercosur ", in accordance with the principle of reciprocity and ius cogens norms of Public International law. |
