Violencia física y psicológica en las familias de los barrios centrales del cantón Gonzanamá en el periodo enero a julio de 2015 y la intervención del trabajador social

The relationship system between people has unfolded like a spiral of violence, whose base has increased more and more. In the research called Physical and psychological violence in families of the central districts of the canton Gonzanamá in the period of January to July 2015 and the intervention of the social worker, which is focused on making visible the problem of violence in families of the Gonzanamá canton, we can identify that the social relations system generates high rates of aggression, whose foundations are, to defend their principles, lack of communication, and alcohol problems. In this kind of social relationship, I could perceived as a cause of aggression the abuse of the hierarchical power, becoming a flagrant violation of human rights. This problem is aggravated when people don’t denounced it, so that the violence turn into a natural act, accepting it as it comes, denying to complaint or to ask for support to succeed. This research work identifies that most people argue that violence is not reported because they do not consider as an important fact in their physical or psycho-social development, maintaining ancient and androcentric justifications, where men still has the right to mistreat women. The feeling of shame and fear of ridicule, are indicators that force people to keep silence about the violence, understanding that even our society views violence as normal or daily situations, being even worse when people conceal the aggressor. In this perspective, the methodological action of social work involves the construction of new social actors, an action that is part of the human scale development, our intervention is extremely important because it leads to change the mentality of people to allow them to establish alternative of solutions through training. It must be understood that social work does not give solutions but proposes alternative of solutions based on a diagnosis of the reality that serves as the basis to identify human strengths and the context, and then enhance them.
