The purpose of this study was determine the mortality and recruitment of individual, trees as well as the dynamism of the forest. Growth parameters and periodic increase in forest variables was calculated: D1,30 m, height, basal area and volume of all individual trees of the permanent plot. Year 2015, 935 individuals / ha were found, corresponding to 30 genera in 22 families and 29 species, with a mortality of 195 individuals were identified, these representing 2,5 %, and 168 individuals / ha greater than or equal to 5 cm D1,30 m, trees correspond to income or recruited, representing 2,2 %, giving a 2,3 % annual dynamism. During this nine-year period (2006 to 2015) an increase in diameter of 0,0376 m/ha, in height 3,2934 m/ha, basal area of 0.0208 m2/ha and volume of 0,2922 m3/ha was registered. The regular annual increase in diameter was 0.0042 m/ha/year, height 0,3629 m/ha/year, basal area 0.0023m2/ha/year and volume 0.0325 m3/ha/year. In the dry forest of the Natural Reserve La Ceiba, the species that showed higher growth average during the nine-year period were: Ceiba trichistandra D1,30 m (0,029 m/ha) and Acacia macracantha (0.01 m/ha), in height Ceiba trichistandra (1,044 m/ha) and Celtis iguanaea (0.866 m/ha), basal área Ceiba trichistandra (0.046 m2/ha) and Acacia macracantha (0.007 m2/ha), and volume Ceiba trichistandra (0.733 m3/ha) and Acacia macracantha (0,065 m3/ha). |
