Итог:In this research work, the oligohydramnios has been associated with neonatal morbidity and even mortality of the newborn, with preterm labor, and likewise as an absolute indicator of the cesarean section. The general objective was to determine the oligohydramnios complications in childbirth and newborn at Isidro Ayora Hospital located in Loja city during the period of time ranging from February to August. A descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional research was conducted at both the Gynecology - Obstetrics and Neonatology Departments respectively at Isidro Ayora Hospital. The present research work was carried out with essential tools such as: a population of 67 pregnant women diagnosed with oligohydramnios, a form of data collection (survey), the source of secondary information based on clinical history, and statistical analysis which was performed using Microsoft Excel software 2010. From the main results obtained, it could be stated that the most representative form of the pregnancy culmination is the cesarean section with 94%, form the newborns there were found the following; the gestational age was in the first place the newborn to term representing the 42%, 51% had a normal APGAR, children who had low weight <2500gr representing 55%, 10% presented acute fetal distress (SFA), 25% showed complications extrauterine, and 7% died; from all pregnant women, 28% had complications during the childbirth. The conclusions identified was the association of oligohydramnios with not only chorioamnionitis, but also with low birth weight, acute fetal distress, neonatal mortality, respiratory distress syndrome (SDRN), neonatal macrosomia, prematurity, and finally with caesarean section.
