| Sumari: | The development of this research work arises from the academic and social need to know the contribution that can generate community communication based on oral and written language to collect historical and cultural information of the parish Purunuma, region Gonzanamá province of Loja. The scientific method was used to direct this work; selecting key informants who provided relevant information on the phenomenon under study, through interviews and life stories, using the ethnographic method, since it allows to interact better with the actors in a community, in order to have a clearer view of the subject to investigate. The data collected were compared performing triangulation of sources, with the firm intention of meeting better the phenomenon under study and thus be certain to provide information within a framework of scientific analysis, type especially comparative, suitable for presentation to the academic community, made possible through the application of historical method. Likewise, it was determined that orality is the main factor that ancestral knowledge transmitted generation after generation, but the downside is that as you do this are subtracted and increase details narratives, which have a some variation. The degree of knowledge of the inhabitants of Purunuma in relation to the history and culture is good; However, new generations are not interested in knowing these aspects which represents a threat, due to today's human nature not to be missed, on the contrary we must recover the identity to better understand the cultural and historical aspect; hence the present research historical and cultural aspects of Purunuma recovered, to preserve and share by developing a document to serve as the livelihood of the history and culture for present and future generations |
