Čoahkkáigeassu:Dental caries and periodontal disease are considered in the world as heavier diseases in the history of oral disease, today its distribution and severity vary according to many factors, among which determined the prevalence of the major diseases. A study of quantitative, descriptive and transversal in a universe of 215 students from kindergarten José Antonio Peña Celi and Joint National College Vilcabamba Parish during the period September-October 2013, whose objectives were to perform oral diagnosis and determine the prevalence of different pathologies and different relation to risk factors that can get to produce them. To carry out this research have been used the survey and clinical history were applied to each of the students and served for adequate data collection. According to the analysis and processing of information might be found the following: 82% of the studied population had dental caries, gingival inflammation 85%, and 30% presented dental fluorosis, and as contributing factors to the appearance of various pathologies were observed poor oral hygiene and cariogenic diet, added to this the lack of dental care.
