Sammanfattning:The intestinal parasitic diseases are among the most common infections worldwide, affecting various population groups, more often in infants causing malnutrition, poor school performance and inadequate physical development (1). In the current study was performed the geohelminths eggs identification on feces of children attending to the Escuela Fiscal Mixta “Rosita Paredes Jumbo”, using the Kato Katz concentration method and the Willis concentration method, likewise both methods were compared, and once the results were obtained the information was released to parents or the guardians of the children. The research was descriptive and cross-sectional, where were collected stool samples from 50 children, which were analyzed, by Kato Katz method where the 80% presented A. lumbricoides eggs, the 20% T. trichiura eggs; by Willis technique the 68% presented A. lumbricoides eggs, the 32% revealed T. trichiura eggs; comparing both methods was determined that the Kato Katz method is more practical in identifying A. lumbricoides and the Willis method more effective in identifying T. trichiura. Keywords: Geohelminthiasis, Kato Katz method, Willis method.
