Tag hinzufügen | Zusammenfassung: | The present study is cross-type period, comparative, of patients diagnosed with advanced osteoarthritis which is studied by conventional X-ray image of knee and thus evaluate pre-and postoperative functional capacity of patients under going joint replacement surgery in the Hospital Manuel Ygnacio Monteros Loja city using the WOMAC functional scale. A sample of 24 patients undergoing knee joint replacement for osteoarthritis, it was determined that the average age of patients with this condition are between 50 and 70 years, being more evident at the age of 60 - 69 years with 50%. It was determined that the most affected gender is the feminine who performed chores, with 58 % of cases, WOMAC functional scale in preoperative and postoperative assessment was ideal to confirm the improvement in joint mobility, determining that this scale is essential for diagnosis. Gonarthrosis Grade 4 is most common with 92 %. |
