Aplicación de técnicas de estudio para mejorar el aprendizaje en el área de estudios sociales, bloque nº 5, nuestra independencia, en los niños y niñas de sexto grado de la escuela fiscal mixta Ramón Sebastián Valdivieso del barrio Menfis Alto, de la ciudad de Loja año lectivo 2013-2014

This research work entitled: APPLICATION OF TECHNICAL STUDY TO MAKE LEARNING IN THE AREA OF SOCIAL STUDIES, BLOCK No. 5, "Our independence" CHILDREN IN SIXTH GRADE SCHOOL MIXED FINANCIAL RAMON SEBASTIAN DEL BARRIO Valdivieso MENFIS HIGH CITY SCHOOL YEAR 2013-2014 LOJA. General objective: Apply study skills to enhance learning in the area of social studies block No. 5 "Our Independence" in children to improve learning. This objective links five specific objectives related to: the theoretical foundation, diagnosis of learning, alternative guidelines and their implementation, and the evaluation of the alternative. The research responded to a descriptive diagnosis and quasi-experimental design. His investigative process required the use of methods: understanding, diagnosis, modeling, implementation and assessment of the effectiveness in implementing study techniques to improve learning. The technique used was the interview and the survey with the participation of 12 students and a teacher. The main findings were: difficulties, shortcomings, present cognitive needs and difficulties in learning to recognize the contents of the block No. 5, because the teacher does not apply appropriate techniques for the development of the contents of the study block. Due to the above it was concluded that the application of research techniques helps students to achieve an improvement in knowledge of the contents of block 5, promoting the quality of learning
