| Shrnutí: | The research headlined: The practice of physical activity to regulate the sugar level in the members of the Diabetic Club Sweet friends of the Isidro Ayora Hospital of Loja, period 2014-2015. The following problem was established. How does the physical activity help to regulate the level of sugar in the members of the Diabetic Club Sweet friends of the Isidro Ayora Hospital of Loja, period 2014-2015? Its objective was to determine the effects of the physical activity through a plan of exercises to the members of the Isidro Ayora Hospital of Loja. For that I emphasize into what is the physical activity, its risks, benefits and indications against it; and in the same way a general context of the mellitus diabetes. The methods used were: scientific, qualitative, analytical synthetic, and descriptive. The technique was the following: Physical activities were done with the members (games and physical activity) during 30 minutes per session every week into three months. After the sugar level in the blood was measured and a reduction of it was observed. From the research, we arrived to the following results: The members who represent the 100% did physical activity without planning and at the same time the low interest they have , besides they don`t have the support of a professional who guide and motivate them in doing it. From the members, a 73% did not know that the sugar level would reduce at doing physical activity due to they did not have necessary information. Besides they never asked about the options to reduce naturally the sugar level in the blood. Concluding that thank to the exercising plan, they did planned and organized activities which promoted the reduction of the sugar level in the blood. We finish by recommending the promotion of activities in old adults into permanent programs |
