Influencia del Apoyo Familiar en el Afrontamiento de Enfermedades Autoinmunes en el “Grupo de Pacientes de Enfermedades Autoinmunes” de la Ciudad de Loja durante el año 2023

The present research focuses on analyzing the influence of family support in the personal coping of Autoimmune Diseases in the "Autoimmune Diseases Patient Group" of the city of Loja during the year 2023. The study has been able to describe the sociodemographic profile of the group of patients, as well as to identify their perception of the family support they receive for the personal coping of their disease and to determine the personal coping strategies used to cope with their disease. The methodology used for the research is based on the deductive method with a quantitative correlational and non-experimental cross-sectional approach that explores and describes the relationships between variables, in addition, simple random sampling is used where the representative sample of the population is 132 people. The results were analyzed statistically using SPSS software and presented through tables and graphs. Sociodemographic characteristics of the group, perceptions of family support and coping strategies used were identified. In conclusion, this study contributes to the understanding of how family support influences coping with Autoimmune Diseases in patients from Loja. It provides valuable insights for the development of more effective interventions and support strategies, thus improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
