Yhteenveto:Growth is a complex biological process, the result of interactions between endogenous and exogenous factors. It is undoubtedly the result of the union of genetic and environmental factors that affect the first ages of life, in a continuous and dynamic way from conception to maturity. Our main objective was to: Evaluate the growth of children between 3 and 5 years of age who attend the mixed fiscal school "IV Centenario" N ° 1. The study was observational, descriptive and prospective in supposedly healthy children who attended the mixed fiscal school "IV Centenario" N ° 1, during the period February to July 2016. The universe was 620 children and the sample: 81 children (46 children and 35 girls) taking weight and height once a month for 6 months, excluding those with a history of prematurity, with alterations already diagnosed and those who did not sign the informed consent, with the results obtained were percentile and tabulus according to the WHO Z-score tables, showing that: 97.8% of children and 97.1% of girls present adequate weight for their age and gender and regarding size adequate for their age and gender, girls present 94.3% compared to children with 91.3% , the minority percentages were: 6.5% of children with low height for their age, finally after the presentation of the results to the parents, 98.5% were satisfied with the explained results, thus committing themselves to maintaining a periodic monitoring of the weight and height of their children Keywords: growth, percentiles, tables and gender.
