| Zusammenfassung: | This investigation project includes the modeling and construction of a prototype for collecting water samples in tributaries, which will serve to improve the sampling procedure, either simple or composite. To design and model the mechanism for collecting the aliquots, the starting point was the search for information on the existing methods for taking samples in tributaries and the existing standards in the country, as well as at the international level to carry out this process. The technical operating parameters that the system must have for taking samples have been defined. Then, the mechanism for sampling was modeled in 3D, using 3D modeling software. To build the prototype, materials have been selected according to the standards previously consulted and local technology available for assembly has been used. The validation of the prototype has been carried out by taking samples in a nearby tributary, with the collection system, and it has been verified that the collection volume is correct. Finally, the result is a functional prototype with a simple mechanism for collecting samples that consists of a suction nozzle, the hose, an electrovalve and a micro-diaphragm pump; a hose positioning system to fill the bottles consisting of a stepper motor and a shaft to which the hose is attached and a suction hose bleed system consisting of a mini compressor and a solenoid valve, all Electrical elements of each system are controlled by an Arduino Uno board, which coordinates the filling of the bottle with the required sample volume. The collected samples are stored in a compartment where they are cooled for their preservation using ice. Keywords: semiautomatic sampler, water samples, sampling in tributaries, sampler prototype, experimental design. |
