The research undertaken is of a descriptive-relational nature, utilizing survey and interview techniques, which were applied to the population of Yantzaza. The findings indicate that digital promotion is a critical factor in facilitating tourism activities. Additionally, the most widely used social media platforms are Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp, with a readiness to receive information occasionally through these platforms. Consequently, the validation of the proposed idea is recommended, and a digital marketing plan is presented, followed by a structured proposal. The SWOT matrix, encompassing strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats, is also detailed. In this manner, the strategic SWOT is formulated, contributing to the development of strategies that enhance the positioning of the region's tourist attractions and improve their visibility in both local and international markets. This plan further explores how digital tools can help reach broader audiences, engage potential visitors, and foster long-term growth in the tourism sector. Keywords: digital marketing, tourism, marketing strategies, tourism, community participation, market growthEl presente trabajo de titulación tuvo como objetivo Desarrollar un plan de marketing digital para promover el turismo en la comunidad San Vicente de Caney ubicado en el cantón Yantzaza, provincia de Zamora Chinchipe, durante el periodo de enero a junio de 2024, para demostrar su potencial turístico resaltando su entorno natural subtropical, abundante vegetación, diversa fauna, ríos, cascadas y cuevas; estos son los atributos geográficos del sector que bien merecen ser aprovechados por los turistas de alrededor del mundo. El nivel de investigación realizado es descriptivo-relacional, las técnicas fueron la encuesta y la entrevista, la cual fue aplicada en la población de Yantzaza y para la obtención de la muestra a ser estudiada, en base a los resultados proporcionados resaltaron que la promoción digital es un factor importante al realizar una actividad turística, además las redes sociales más utilizadas son Facebook, YouTube y WhatsApp; adicionalmente estos hay disposición para recibir información ocasionalmente. Por consiguiente, se plantea la comprobación a la idea a defender, además se suscita un plan de marketing digital y estructura la propuesta, para consecutivamente detallar la matriz FODA que abarca las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas, de esta manera se crea el FODA estratégico que aporta en el planteamiento de estrategias que promueven el posicionamiento de los atractivos turísticos.
